Profile of the Managing Director
Byron H Pull FCMA
Byron became a member of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants in 1969, and after a period of twenty years
in industry and commerce, started the consultancy that is
now Intensive Management Support Ltd. He is a fellow of
the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and holds
a Practising Certificate from that Institute. Byron is also
member of the Institute of Strategic Planning, the Institute
of Directors, a Microsoft Partner, and a TAS Partner in
Practice.
Byron has significant experience with UK companies and organisations as diverse as: Tube Investments Plc, the British Broadcasting Corporation, Fisons Plc, and Beresfords Plc. Also, overseas
organisations such as the Swedish Group, Securum, and the Belgian Engineering Group Tracabel. Together with the major public companies, Byron has worked for a number of
family organisations such as, Stephen Walters, and partnerships such as Saxon Law.
Annually Byron completes over 40 hours of continuing professional development, with accredited training organisations including Institute of Directors and Microsoft.
Posts held include those of Managing Director, and Group and Divisional Finance Director, within environments that were both professionally, technically and personally
demanding, and he currently holds a number of directorships, in profitable companies, including MD of an Internet company.
Byron's knowledge of line management has enabled the normal consultancy service to be extended to include the provision of implementation, which enables the client to benefit both from
the solution, and from the implementation experience, so significantly increasing the certainty of a successful result. For those organisations who use the Meyers Briggs profiling, Byron
has been formally evaluated as ENTJ.
