Each company and project is unique, and detailed below is a flavour of the process. It can be short, or as with a number of clients, can extend over
several years, as relationships develop, and business growth produces new challenges. The following is an example of the delivery process for a project where urgent action is required:
- There is an initial free interview with the client, which can be up to ½ day.
- A proposal is produced, which details the problems (or symptoms), and a general plan and timescale, and estimated costs.
- Once agreed, there will be a number of sub stages in the project:
- Information gathering, usually from employees, tested with the senior management.
- A report presenting the initial findings for review, and modification.
- Agreement of the immediate actions suggested, with responsibilities.
- Immediate execution of agreed actions if required.
- A summary of the effect of the actions taken.
- Establishing the 'holding' actions required to prevent deterioration of the situation.
- A further detailed report on the long term strategy.
- Implementation of the agreed strategy.
- Final report on the results achieved.
- Further agreements are then made depending on the support required, and the timescale.
Throughout the project, there is a high degree of communication between Intensive Management Support, and senior management, both by e-mail, in hard copy, and face to
face, to ensure that actions taken are as correct as they can be.
In addition, the service provided follows recommendations made with implementation action, as frequently the organisation lacks the skills to implement the solution, which usually
cannot be remedied in the short term.
It should also be noted that many of the projects are confidential, particularly with respect to Corporate Recovery, and prospective clients should be satisfied that
confidentiality will be maintained.
